My S8 rear ended while with the garage!
A first for me.
Leave my car at the garage, and they return it having had an accident in it  |
Nooooooooooo!
Make them buy it at full book value and get a w12! The last thing you want is a damaged repaired when it's nothing to do with you. |

hope it hasnt done too much damage  |
Thats bad.... Hope the damage isnt too extensive

Any reason they were 'road testing' it?! Especially if rear ended by another Audi in for servicing.......
If it's any more than a bumper replacement I'd be looking to offload at their expense unless the car has strong sentimental value to you. Hate it when this happens  |
Guys, you all know this garage
It was apparently rear ended by a Vectra on an island on the M1. Huh? It looks like superficial damage, but I'm taking her into a body shop tomorrow to check that nothing more serious has been damaged Adrian. The road testing involved my car coming back to me with an extra 255 miles on the clock. I can account for about 150 to 170 for the commute, but what has happened, apart from a crash, that I don't know about. And all of this on my petrol Mike. W12! Do you think I should be slowing down then :) |
Fooking hell.. so an 80 mile round trip with a prang? Sounds like a lunchtime test pilot.

Well I hope they can give you a good enough explanation as to why they had to do such an extensive road test on your car, I understand you not naming the garage, but another clue would be good. I know where you live (ish) Was the 150-70 miles you did one way or round trip? What was the work you were having done? Fitting of a Milltek I hope. Let that V10 sing(h) :D

Not sure where you live, but if you're in the South East I know an exceptional bodyshop in Crawley - Porsche approved etc. |
