D2 Facelift S8 to feature on new series of Top Gear
 

Its going to be part of a challenge vs a Jag XJ12 pulling a train or something along some tracks, lets hope they are nice to it.

You just know they will completely muller it! :(

They put train wheels on it I think. Looks like it has solar too.

Well, they can be specified for Unimog's which have been used as 'shunting' vehicles in London Underground depots!


But they're made by Mercedes, aren't they?

Normally vehicles used on railway track have rail wheels attached that can be raised lowered so you can drive on road wheels until you need you rail wheels. Unimog’s are indeed Mercedes (and very good too)

I hope the Topgear boys use a 12 cylinder 8 too.
