I have seen 2 similar videos of myself in back of police cars in 2001-2002, first in Lithuania in my way from Denmark to Latvia in 1.8 Passat. Speed on film was 150-170kph on 90kph road, paid $100 to let me off. It was Friday afternoon and if I were going to do it officially I would have been stranded in Lithuania till Monday and go to police precinct , face $300 fine and possible ban from driving in Lithuania. I started off bidding at $20 but they insisted on $150, it was hard to drive it down to $100 after they seen money in my wallet, lesson learned there- keep small amount of money in wallet and rest hidden somewhere but what do you expect I was 20 then and still learning
Second time in Denmark after work I had half hour to make it to the bank to do international money transfer 6-7 miles away and were flooring it in the same Passat, speed was 160-170kph on film and 152kph official reading on radar on 90kph road, nice officers let me go even though my driving rights in Denmark with Latvian licence were suspended for not attending retest within time limit following drink driving I guess they were a bit confused. Next week officer showed up at my house asking to surrender licence and told I could not drive anymore in Denmark until I pass retest. Din not have any penalty for speeding though.
