has any one got the engine specs ?
 

im wanting to compare all sorts between the s8 and a8 40valve 4.2 engine and would like some tec data if any one has it

i would like things like;

valve timing

cam profile/lift duration

compression ratio ect
and any other info that might be of interest

i have some things going on in my head at the moment and im thinking of making a hybrid engine

as the a8 is lower compression its safer for supercharging but with adding S8 cams depending on the lift difference and then going for the supercharged kit
any way something along those lines im looking down,

call me crazy but when i get an idea in my head i like to explore every avenue before i call it a night and if nothing comes of it all then i have simply gained more knowledge +++

thanks for that dose not have the A8 40valve spec though only the 32 valve exelent info there though for the 40valve S8 engine
