Need the S8 Brembo callipper's piston size (Refurb kit)
 

Hi. if anyone know the diameter of the pistons or have a spare lying around to take measures from that would be absolutely perfect.

Yes, i can take mine off(and will if nobody has)

Spoke today with the a Porsche spareparts store here and they would provide new pistons and seals if i could get hold of the piston size and a few closeup pics of the callipper. He just delivered new pistons and seals to a Volvo R(something) where the Volvo dealer claimed only new calippers are offered.

Hopefully a refurb kit is in the process.

Had them off yesterday an they are 40 and 36mm So refurb kit should be easy to find:)

Good to know. My 4 pot Brembos will be up for sale soon so may as well refurb them.

Ended up ordering the conplete refurb kit from the dealer today.

The kit includes 4 new pistons, 4 seals, 4 Dust boots and special oil.

Tot cost £177 for both calippers.

Picked up the kit today from Audi Dealer and for others that would like to know the Brembo no for the kit its 98.5032.40

I"m not gonna search the web and see how much i would have saved knowing the correct no in advance... ;)
