One of mine doesn't demist, I'm not sure why.

Only problem is I don't remember, and until it gets colder I won't know which....

The glass looks a bit odd in the eBay picture, what is that?

It needs cleaning :(

Tell you what, I'll take it, £10 posted isn't bad. And I'm pretty sure it's the drivers mirror that doesn't demist.
(easy to wipe - N/S would really annoy me!)

Frosty morning, checked the mirrors, neither defrost/demist now.
Time to RTFM; checked the fuse which is fine.

The manual says they're on when the ignition is on, that's it.
No temperature trigger at all - can anyone confirm that?

When the replacement arrives and is fitted I'll know more.....:cool:

I think they come on together with rear window heater

I tried that just in case as it was an obvious possibility; no difference.
The manual makes no connection between them that I saw.

My A8 manual says they come on together with rear window heater, A6 that they come on depending on outside temperature
