Replacement Screen for RNS-D
 

The screen on my RNS-D collided with a Iphone 3GS and the Iphone won who'd thought that?

I need to replace the screen, and I want to keep my pennies as I saving up for a new gearbox, RNS-E (by CraigyB as I'm too clumsy to do it myself) and real life that isn't dominated by debt!

Can I replace the screen only, or do I start saving for the RNS-E?

Changing the screen isnt too hard, I've done it before. Just need to remove loads of little Torx screws from the unit, and disconnect the ribbon cable etc

I've got an RNS-D here which belongs to A8parts, it has a good screen but faulty drive mechanism I believe. Its due to go back to them. It'd be worth a call to see what they'd want for it +++

I have a screen you can have for the cost of postage (which you can pay me by paypal) if you like, will be the weekend or early next week before I can dig it out and get posted though, I will post it cheapest way if you like. The only thing you might need to do is take the back off it and check that the ribbon cable is seated properly
