Finally Sealed the deal and got my own workshop today

For quite some time i have been after a workshop for many reasons including my valeting company has out grown itself and was in need of a bigger area in witch to do it so finally got 1000 square feet workshop with a second floor for storage and office space ect, so i can finally start advertising the whole thing properly without the fear of being over come by too many customers and no space in witch to fit them in, very happy will post up some pictures tomorrow when i get down there and take some, will also give me space for my used car sales +++

Nice one +++ can't wait to see it!
I've been looking myself and it's likely that my cousins husband will let me go halves on one he's secured to share the costs so looks like I can store the 8 there when I'm not driving it and also get going with my proposed project car.
Hopefully I can share his tools and we may even put in a car lift if we can source one cheaply enough as there's loads of height.
It's certainly a lot easier to be organised when you've got a space like that!

i agree, there are plenty of 2 poster ramps on 3 phase if you look on the bay they are not a bad price second hand

Just make sure any hoist has been serviced/tested or you know what it will cost to do :) they can be properly knackered! If you can find someone who is emptying premises you can get a bargain - been to an auction and seen fairly new kit at sensible money

Congrats on the space - very handy!

Ideally I'd like a 4 poster as it will be easier to stick my 8 on it quickly and store it up in the air. I suppose there are pros and cons with each hmmm

Well done mate +++

Wishing you all the very best in expanding your venture! :)

Good news!

And 2 poster anyday with the chain at the top. Then you can lift out of the way and get easy access to everything. 4 posters are a waste of time :( You can't get access easily.

2 posters have locks on them so they go up, then just lower it and it sits on the them.

I've got 2 post and a rolling road. Love it, my personal toy.

We should have a rolling road day at the next meet at your place Doc. +++

Guy, nice one. Get some pictures up, I would love my own workshop.
