pre facelift s8 whats it worth ?
 

Iv been offered a 99 pf s8 with 135,000 on the clock in a deal with my car and i was wondering what they are worth?This one has full history and has had the gearbox serviced ect and seems to be pretty sorted so all in all what are they worth?

blimey im shocked i thought itd be a lot less than that .What was the difference between the facelift and pre facelift ?

Apart from the obvious cosmetic items which include different centre console switchgear, the Pre facelift has different headlights and a few more.

I believe the pre facelift S8 produces less power, and also has a 4 speed auto compared to the later facelift which has a 5 speed.

4 speed boxes stopped in 1996. 5 Speed on everything since then.

Facelift has different front end, xenon headlights, full screen colour sat nav, colour DIS, 3 x 3 point seatbelts in rear, way better armrests, proper front fogs, ESP, PDC front and rear, etc

But, the pre facelift has nicer carpets, non-drive by wire throttle so responds better, and a variable tilt on the sunroof.

340bhp on PF S8, 360 on FL, not that you'd really notice.

FL has variable Tilt on the sunroof too, there is a knack to doing it but it 100% has variable tilt.
