Correct usage of capital letters...

Now that e-mails and text messaging have become such a popular forms of communication a side effect seems that we no longer concern ourselves with the correct usage of capital letters. For the guilty ones it may be a good idea to remember the following piece of advice.

"Capitalization is the difference between helping your Uncle Jack off a horse and helping your uncle jack off a horse"

Hope everyone is now clear about that.

Well spotted; however, you should have used a semi colon after Tonup. :)

That's interesting about the semi colon.

If you are going to use a semicolon to connect two clauses, it is very important that the two clauses are both independent. That means that each clause has to be able to stand alone and make complete sense without the other. If either one cannot stand alone, a semi-colon cannot be used.

They do probably stand alone. I never use a semi colon in a sentence, only for lists and I'm too old to start now.
