My Stolen Audi S8
 

I need this car back, I didn't want it to do this, but I had always written off £5,000 in my bank account purely for the purpose of reward for the return of my car, I am now offering the full reward amount.

You will all know which one it is, the cactus green one in the photo gallery section.

Guys, I know I could buy a D3 for £5k that really isn't the point and I could do without you guys questioning my reasoning. Just know that this is important to me for personal reasons and so I can move on from this whole sorry episode, offering this high a reward amount in comparison to the value of the car is something I have thought about for a long time and something I am more then willing to do.

Your renewed interest at this time if certainly interesting, but I'll respect your 'no questions' policy.

I'm totally with sarg though. If I did stumble across some info that helped you get closure, I'd want nothing more than a pint when we next meet and a smile on your face. If you want to burn 5K locating it, I guess a PI would be the way to go.

The problem is though, that I struggle to believe its in one piece. The engine was broken, presumably the thieves had no keys, and it was a really rare colour. Fixing it to sell on legitimately would have been expensive and not worth the effort.

Every time a green D2 passes my screen I double check its colour, interior and spec. Every time.

My only question to you then is not why, but are you looking to have the car back, or simply to get to the bottom of what happened to it ?

I agree with Ian that most probably your car doesn't exist any more as one piece. I'm sure we all are looking for your car. I'm paying attention to all D2s that come my way and checking.

If you like D2s I'd suggest to search for an example in even better condition. Sometimes people sell low mileage cars in excellent condition. Invest time viewing them and I'm sure sooner or later you'll find absolutely great car.

...Good luck finding her in one piece. I'd like to believe she's still a complete car, but logic tells me this isn't the case.

a while ago like 20months ago i was looking for some S8 brakes and hubs on ebay and i seen a cactus green one in the back ground and the listing was that it had a front end crash everything seemed to be for sale apart from the engine and gear box, and i never did see a picture of the front end but at the time i did not know of the theft and i have a sad feeling that may well have been said car ? how long ago was it stolen ?

Pictures here, I am convinced there was nothing wrong with the engine on this car, it was an immculate high spec S8 with a 1.5k mile old gearbox in a one off colour, that I miss. If I ever get it back, I have big big plans for it.

Man thats a beauty! I would be ****ed if that happened to me. How long ago was this stolen? Honestly is worth you printing out a few 'wanted' posters around your area with pictures, your reward and phone number. Send me a email with the poster and i'l stick it around my area better than nothing!
