Audi Gen2 Cradle rSAP Adapter

3 Attachment(s)
This rSAP adapter is brand new and has never been used, still in original Audi box and in excellent condition -

rSAP adapter Audi Part Number - 8P0 051 440A

Description -
Remote SIM access profile Bluetooth adaptor cradle. An enhancement of the factory-fitted option "Mobile phone preparation - Low". It enables mobile phone handsets to connect to the phone preparation via Bluetooth Remote SIM Access Profile (rSAP). When handsets are connected, the cradle enables the use of the external GSM car antenna and deactivates the handset antenna in order to minimise GSM radiation in the car and handset battery consumption. The handset is put into standby mode so battery power drain is minimal. Once connected, the cradle connects to the handset automatically and details of up to four handsets can be saved. Only handsets with Bluetooth rSAP functionality are compatible with this adaptor.

Application Guide -
UNIVERSAL FOR AUDIS WITH GENERATION 2 PHONE PREPERATION

Manufacturers RRP –
cost over £300 new (still have receipt!)
looking for £150 as it is new/un-used

=== sold! ===

Yep! sold and working with my BB Bold 9900.+++ There is however one on e-bay at the mo.
I read on the web about many people having problems with rSAP and the BB Bold 9900. When I went to pair the phone it would not pair until I turned the ignition on with the key, rather than pressing the staret button without putting my foot on the brake. Hope this is of interst to someone.
Oh and I suppose I should say hello! I've just bought an '08 3.0TDI, my first Audi since a '79 100 5S.

Info on posting attachments and pics is at this link HERE

Basically you click on the paper clip icon above the posting window, then select the images you want to upload individually, then upload them all in one go and the system attaches them to the post. You can also click on the yellow and grey images icon above and post a link to an image that's stored elsewhere such as Flickr etc and it will show images that way. +++
