D2 A8 4.2 - N plate

Hi, I am wondering if anyone would be interested in buying my A8 for spares or repair?

The car is in Linlithgow, Scotland.

It was owned by a couple of users on here.
Reg plate A8 XSV

It has mint black leather recaros fitted, bose, blinds etc.. fitted by the A8parts guys.

The list of new parts that are fitted or I have sitting for this car is crazy and everything will go with the car!

All new suspension arms all round
Coilovers
Refurbed S8 Avus alloys with brand new falken 452 tyres that have never turned a wheel.
New discs and pads from and back
new cruise control stalk (not fitted)
new immobiliser wire (not fitted)
loads of new engine parts
rocker gaskets, filters, fluids, coolant pipe that commonly snaps, new subframe.
Spare bumper
xenon headlights
brand new chrome aerial

While I was fitting a new driveshaft seal i snapped a bolt that hold the coupling into the gearbox.
This can be removed but I do not have the time to do it anymore due to a new job.
It has the 4 speed box.
Engine is at 180k (need to confirm exactly)

Lovely looking car, any idea on price?

Also, is there a story behind there being no 'quattro' emblem on the dash?

AndrewGray 10th March 2012 12:43 PM

Looking for 600 with all the parts and spares I have for it.

It will have to be trailered away.

Hi, just posted a price above :)

I didn't realise there was supposed to be a quattro badge on the dash.
The previous owner must have removed it when he removed the rest of the badges (boot badges and front grille badge)
The front grille has since been replaced for an OEM grille as shown in the pictures :)

Thanks

Coilovers alone are worth an easy £450, the sports Recaro seats £5/600, wheels £500.
In short, it's a bargain. A8 Parts will probably have it off you.

I was going to phone them on monday and see if they are interested.

I know I could easily break a couple of parts off of it and make more money but I don't have the time.

If I cant get someone to come and take it away I guess I will go through the motions of breaking it myself.

Singh 10th March 2012 12:53 PM

I'm interested. Where are you based?

Singh 10th March 2012 12:55 PM

Ah, just seen. Scotland, need to find out how much to transport it.
