i did show SWMBO your garage project - she was really impressed - though mainly by the caithness stone patio bit!! As I dont have a garage my next step may be more modest :(

The Caithness was a lucky buy for me, one of my clients has a tiling and flooring business and his brother was in charge of a job which he measured out at 200 sqm, but when the job was completed there was 100sqm left...Oops It lay in their yard for two years and when I told him I was re-working my garden he made me an offer I couldn't refuse.

Apparently Caithness stone was formed over 450 million years ago and is only available in the north of Scotland
