FL Mirrors on PF
 

Hi Guys,
As it has been bugging me that my car has a smaller mirror on the passengers side for a while, then I have been thinking about upgrading my PF mirrors, to the wider(on passenger side) mirror and after that installing some chrome covers/housings off Ebay.

So I am thinking that its possible to buy a drivers side mirror(from a british A8) and installing it to my German A8 and then getting covers that fit FL(both mirrors being the same size now) I won´t mind the wide-angle that is in driver-side mirrors on both(as I have it on the left on my german version)

Alternatively I could just buy FL mirrors... but I only need one:)

I guess color of the new mirror housing is not an issue as I want to install the chrome housing

Is this the best option? Maybe you guys have a better idea?

Note: I don´t want to upgrade to full S8 mirrors.. eventho they are much cool'er... then I don´t drive an S8 and don´t want to portray(fake) that I am:-) + they are pricey!

Edit: well granted that they are cheap.. I don't mind being fake it seems.

Carl(from A8 Parts) is trying to sell me some S8 mirrors... should/shouldn´t I?

I´m guessing yes... if the price is right:)

He offers them at £395 im thinking more like £250(I offered him £275...inlcuding some other small things and postage, lets see what he says)

Damn it if Carl isn´t a good salesman, he just convinced me to buy the S8 mirrors

I'm sure the next thing he's selling me is an S8 engine and tranny:ROFL:

Though the budget is being punished, he gave me a such a good price, that I could not resist.

I'll post some pics when I have received and fitted them:D
