Final edition Audi S8 for sale
 

I have decided to sell my Audi S8. I had originally bought this to keep for a very long time, but due to a change in circumstances and having a project S8 on the drive...I have decided to sell this.

Many of you will know it as Reffros S8 and I am sure is familiar to many of you.

Since owning the car...it has wanted for nothing....I have install an RNs e with a bluetooth module, done an oil change and change spark plugs....it just turned past the 100k mark and I have done about 4500 miles since owning it.

I will include the RNs d with the sale so if the buyer chooses to maintain the factory look they can. The private registration D5VYN will stay with the car.

I m looking for 4000 Ono....will include some pictures and the spec later in the day....

Right, well.........
I was heading over to Jethro's place one Sunday to seriously look at this, but you got there first. :(

So, I've never actually seen it, but I "think" the spec is right for me.

SWMBO is away this Sunday, so "I'm free"!
BUT I have a date with the Spanish Grand Prix (only on telly). :-(

Where and when could I look at it on Sunday?
(The GP can always be recorded ;) )

Well this is still for sale and before I go the ebay route thought I would add some pictures and mention that I have decided to keep the number plate so will place this on retention in the meantime.

Mileage is now at 104k....I changed spark plugs and did oil/filter change at 98000 miles. Will do another oil change before letting it go.

The reason I bought this car was because it was a final edition, had only 3 owners and the cambelt had been done at 70k.

I was intending to keep this a long time, however I need a diesel now and as I m repairing another S8, this has to go otherwise I truly believe this car is as good as any could expect.

Other than minor blemishes to be expected of 10 yr old car, it has a complete first aid kit and an unused final edition spare wheel. So I truly believe anyone who buys it will not be disappointed.

In terms of extras....It has a ps2 in the boot and sony tv mounted in the roof, rns e plus bluetooth, heated rear seat, heat cupholders, alcantara roof lining and front seats, rear seats are full leather.

Everything works as it should except for the radio. The wiring for the antenna is there just needs an adapter to connect to the rns e.

Am I being thick or is this car far too high spec to be a final edition?! I don't believe you could have avus with anything other than red or purple interior on the FEs. Certainly not half alcantara, heated rears, entertainment etc

Lovely car in any case and well worth a look!

Its certainly got the final edition "steering wheel coloured to match the trim" and I thought IT had said there were 4 or 5 colours on internal trim which varied dependant on the cars colour so I dont see that as a problem. The extras may well be ones that were added on ordering in addition to the FE spec but the sticker in the boot or service book would soon confirm what it came with from the factory +++

I think the alcantara seats are a retrofit, and the PS2/Screen were always a dealer option. RNS-E obviously a retrofit too.

AFAIK it 'was' an FE, but has been upgraded over the years.

Couldnt get Avus silver FE with anything other than red or purple interior...

The alcantara roof isnt FE spec either.

I would say it was a 'just before FE' spec car rather than an actual Final Edition.

That said, its way better specced than most FE's so I wouldnt let that be a concern....

Wonder where the 10 disc DVD changer went that was supposed to be in the boot though... :Confused:
