Farting about with fuel economy
 

Yes... I know I drive a sootchucking spawn of satan...

So I decided to see what kind of economy I could get, set the cruise at 65 on the way back from Dundee today, and did not too badly if I do say so, the A90/A9/M80 is quite hilly and you could see the impact on the economy quite quickly when going uphill.

So... here are a couple of piccies... Really getting quite attached to this engine now.. Faster off the line than the petrol, and much cheaper to run... Given these figures, an 800+ mile tank should be easily acheivable (if I didn't die of boredom on the way!) The trip computer is showing since last fill-up, which is a lot of town pootling about and not being nice to mr throttle :)

I get 400miles to my £110 of derv in the 3.6TDV8. I think it's amazing on fuel!

I hope you didn't take these pics while driving on the Queen's Highway....:tuttut::p

Of course not... That would be irresponsible.
