Lwb v swb

can any one tell me the main difference in the SWB v LWB im looking at getting rid of the SWB W12 and getting a LWB 4.2 but i want to kjow if you can get the LWB with sports air ride and want to know if they handle as good ect things like that

i dont want to make the mistake of getting rid of the W12 and ending up with a car with no soul thats boring to drive ? :-(

Sport suspension is available on the LWB, but the whole engine map and transmission are usually toned down to make it a more luxurious ride.

If you want sports and handling, the last thing you want is the LWB imo...

I recently bought an A8 a 3.0TDI Sport. I've had it a month its debadged but looking at the sticker in the boot it appears my car is in fact an A8L.
I wouldn't have bought it had I known as I wanted a normal A8. It wasn't advertised as a Limo the dealer didnt mention it at any point, probably didnt know. Can anyone advise what Im gaining or losing as a result apart from extra leg room i dont need.
Im guessing I can go back to the seller given the circs once Im sure, though not decided whether to or not.
