Paddles conversion

Has anyone converted the Tiptronic (1998) to work with paddles or buttons?

Is there a easy solution?

It's been done.

New airbag clock spring.
New steering wheel with tiptronic buttons.
Wiring harness adapter.
About an hour's labor.
No coding required.
