As there is no such thing as a fair fight I thought I would get in early with my insults and inuendo before Neil (Architex Ma8tey) does! +++

Your raving and romping reporters, accompinied by RanjS8 and Notorious will be meeting up this evening to talk stratergy and advanced bo££ox while drinking diet water and lo cal ice. Ferry tomorrow and then a mad 3.7 litre crawl across europe to Germany hoping to get there before we have to come home.

Lucky gits, have fun. I'll be heading up to AITP so will grab some photos. Edersee looks like a beautiful place, be safe on the autobahns, and if you see an RS 6 - don't bother racing it. ;)

This is one of those weekends where I really wish I could be in more than one place at the same time - have fun at Edersee and AITP guys. The weather is even looking ok for Wigan...

Enjoy! I'm afraid work commitments and just being too close to my "real" holiday meant I couldnt make the trip. :( Maybe next year.

The fun starts and the ferry hasnt even left yet. I knew I should have come along. I just had to rest as I came back from a drive round Europe last weekend.

This is your romping reporter. I'm sat opposite your raving reporter and Ranj -

Well after much merriment and talking expert car bo££ox we are all safely on the ferry and holed up in the club lounge bar. :-)

The hot sunny weather we ordered is delivered and Mike has 35 miles of fuel showing as remaining on his DIS and it is 37 miles to the filling station in Belgium that he wanted to use!

We have installed a couple of screen mounted video cameras in both our cars so watch this space!!

With 2 Grossen bier Bitte in front of your raving and romping reporters, we have completed the tasks for today. Badly! :)

We set out to document all the 8s, talk to as many owners as we could and talk german car Bo££ox. Unfortunately, baggy heads, lack of German language and baggy heads made it all too difficult. So we took some photos and headed back to the bar where Sergay proved useful as a spy! He is Russian after all. Notorious and RanjS8 have headed off to the Germany.DE meeting 65Km away and Neil and I remained to carry away 40% of the prizes on behalf of the UK. Neil came second in the attendees choice for best 8 and I won longest distance travelled to get here (1230Km) and I still have to go home! 25 cars attended on the saturday drive out to a Schloss (castle to you) and it was an 'intersting' and ring peice adjusting drive! There is video of me who, after a spirited (read stupid) overtake followed by a test of the ABS on a blind bend, Once again adjusting the ring peice and we continued on.
