Recoding auto transmission to "sport" model
 

Just came across this, is it valid, anybody else done it ?

That's for the D2 model (they were a year behind in the US).

Talking of which, in the US they didn't (I believe) have the PF S8 such as I have, so have higher gears and/or smaller engines.
A lot of that recoding seems to relate to holding lower gears (e.g. first) which in the S8 is kind of superfluous. :D

Is there any information anywhere about the coding options that would be relevant to my gearbox controller, or is it best just left alone?

For instance I'd actually like it to change it's behaviour (learn) more quickly in response to "spirited" driving yet revert to "very lazy" mode quite quickly.
Reflecting journeys that are often a mix of country roads and dual-carriageway cruising and not over long distances. :cool:
