What does this bit do

Also as i'm useless with with electrics so was hoping the wiring would be already in the car as it's a early PF on a 96?

When you fitted your towbar, if the wiring was already curled up in your boot at ther right hand side, your a pre-wired and will also have the blinds wiring.

This control module should be built into the blind unit you get.

Note that you really need a Prefacelift parcel shelf as the Facelift one will have a 3rd hole for the middle 3 point seatbelt you dont have.

You will also need a prefacelift switch, but you should find if you pop off the dashboard blank that you have the wiring their too if you're prewired.

It really is plug and play on the prewired cars... +++

I had all the cables there when fitted the tow bar like you said all curled up so i'm pre wired and thats a good thing cos i'm crap.

The shelf is a FL so i'll end up with a cup holder in there now +++
