Well picked up my 2003 Audi A8 4.2 with LPG yesterday. And the car has a bit of a twist....

It's my old car I brought back in 2006 and LPG'd and ran for a long while. It's the one I should never of sold and so pleased to have it back. Thanks to Mark for selling it back to me and looking after her!!

I've owned 5 D3's now, 3 x 4.2's, 1 x 3.0TDi and 1 x S8 V10. And for some reason the first one is still my favourite. I loved the V10, the spec the noise... but it was lacking 2 turbos IMO. Where this 4.2 is just what it is, nippy, smooth, torquey and just a damn nice car :)

Very very pleased. Some work to do on her, fitted new discs the other day and off to A8 Parts on Monday for new caliper, oil level sensor and a few other bits.

It was quite special picking it up again, I expected never to see it again and really pleased with it's conditions. It needs some interior spring clips etc. But she drives very well. The 4.2 Litre V8 non-FSI engine is a true peach.

Paintwork to front end
New rear caliper
New level sensor
Wheels refurbed
Upgrade 1 of the playstations to an android setup
Fit AMI
Fit Bluetooth

Enjoy it and never sell it again :)

Yes, and I've had it ages now.

Its quite unique. I had to service it and MOT it. That was a whole new experience... :ROFL:

300 miles done in her over the weekend. Truly lovely car to be in.
