Audi A8 FL RNS C for sale.
 

Audi RNS C Sat Nav Plus unit for sale. I recently bought this unit to retrofit to my 2002 A8 D2. However, the car has suffered an terminal engine failure, and so I have no need for this unit. I paid £100 for this unit (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/150922140350 ), and am looking for £80 for it. It comes with code, and I will throw in the Navigation Plus booklet which cost me £14.99 off ebay for free.

Sorry to hear about the engine failure. Is this the unit you've discussed in another thread? If so, could you link to that so we can look at the details please.

So my question to others here is:
What's the real difference between 4D0 035 192 C (which I have now) and 4D0 035 192 E ?

I can see the buttons are different, so presumably the software is updated for that at least, but what else is improved and is it going to be of any use?

If you could post some good-quality pictures of the front panel and connectors and labels on the back that may help. ;)
Finally, have you actually tested it and know it works OK?

The fl RNs c has a difference fascia to the PF RNs c....so won't actually fit into a PF as it is....

Ah, right, looking at the eBay listing again carefully I can see it's shaped, not a rectangular double-din. Didn't realise they did an RNS-C for FL cars. :o
What about connectors/interfaces, or did they only change with RNS-D?

The connectors at the back of the unit are the same...not sure about the user interface though....I presume it will be the same...

Open to offers as my A8 has now been sold.
