hi guys the gearbox place confirmed fluid is defo low but they think there might be damage to clutch for drives 1st gear as the smell, i cant afford to fix so anyone please make a offer to buy it 750 or best offer it has 140k on it

It will be hard to get that kind of money for non running car. If you are interested we might have accident damaged 1997 3.7 non quattro, 96k miles with good gearbox for sale soon to use for spares. hi sorry cant afford to but it like i said its near offer if anyone is serious in buying it let me know what price you have and can come up with something as i need to buy a cheap car to run around as this was my only car its got to be worth 500?
say 200 for wheels 200 for interior plus engine and panels ect scrap?

I think you'd be less dissapointed aiming for half of that.

I think everybody here has sympathy for the dud you've obtained, but the sad reality is that it would be worth barely a grand in fully working order, and as a non-runner its worth a fraction of that.

It is a nice colour, and it is a sport, so it looks nice enough, but its prefacelift and there arent many parts on it of value to others to be honest. Sure, you can sell a few bit off it, but then its a non-running shell thats even harder to get rid of.

If you've got zero comeback on the seller who passed you on the lemon, then you're gonna have to cut your losses and look for about £200 - £300 for it.

Not trying to be unfriendly here, just honest, so you dont spend weeks trying to sell it for megabux that wont happen. At least it has an MOT and tax for a few more weeks, someone could drive it away, albeit in 2nd gear would be a bit painful.....
