Interior trim wrapped in carbon fibre
Thinking about wrapping my interior burr wood trim around the dash, down the centre console and along the door panels in a subtle carbon fibre. Too much? What does everybody think?

Interior trim
Wrap is good and gives the car a modern feel....however it feels awful to the touch in comparison....I would try and see if a8parts have slightly more modern interior bits you could upgrade to....you will be far more pleased with the result.

personally I find the Carbon Fibre wrap a bit "harsh" in an '8, prefer to see some grey wood instead. I changed my wood from mahogany to dark myrtle last year to go with the alcantara and black leather and much prefer the overall look but the 8 is too much of a limo / classy car to be that "sporty" that it needs carbon fibre look trim. +++

I have trim that is actually wrapped in carbon and cleared as opposed to the carbon look stickers. It's very deep looking and beautiful, and quite fine feeling. I'll try to find photos. Search oCarbon for photos in some other cars too.

I got some wrapped wood off The Laird to try on my D2 S8 - think it would spruce it up, but realistically it needs to be a good job for it to look right.
If you can get it done to a high standard then go for it |
