Prins LPG Kit for D2 40V Engines

We are now breaking an S8 2001 with a prins LPG system fitted.

The kit runs perfectly and switched to LPG fine.

All the wiring and hoses have been adapted for the D2 and it would be an easy job to fit for someone with the know how.

The kit comprises of:

- 8x Injectors
- Tank
- ECU
- Regulars
- Filter
- Filler system and cap
- Switch and gauge

This system is one of the best you can get.

It will pay for its self in no time in your greedy V8 D2 +++

The car is in the process of being broken and the kit will be out soon.

Please call me on 01642 783537 if you would like any further information.

Hi Guy

This would fit your 40V A8 with minimal work.

Looking at offers around £600.

Cheers,
Dave

If the engine is dead / being stripped are you not tempted to sell the head covers with the injectors.....Then it would be a bolt across item. I considered doing this with mine as it has LPG and the engine has some issues a year or two back (timing chain lifters)

LPG injectors

I maybe wrong but aren't the LPG injector pipe just sealed or screwed into the intake manifold?....so just needing the swap of the intake manifold?

RanjS8,

Hi there, for sequential multipoint, which is what this kit would be, then the injectors get places as close to the origionals as posible.

Manifold

Cool in that case it is just the intake manifold that will be needed which would most likely just be a straight swap for the existing manifold....don't have to worry about the heads.

Btw I don't actually that setup cos if you have an issue with the coil packs or want to change the spark plugs then the LPG injectors points are in the way.

I had a setup where the LPG injector setup came from the centre of the manifold....it meant that servicing the car and any misfire issue were easily resolved without disturbing the LPG system.
