Been busy, been quiet... Sorry !

Ok, so Sorry I've been a bit absent the past week or so....

I note you've not really missed me though, you've all been happily nattering amongst yourselves, and I'm sure Mike has been chatting to himself as usual

Spam has been, well, doing my head in......

You will have all seen some over the past few weeks... Porn, holidays, credit cards, car insurance.... bla bla bla...

We've implemented a number of things to reduce it, and today I've given up and gone for a full on 'new user moderation' model, which means that no new users will be able to post anything until I have personally approved them....

There will still be a few spambots that have pre registered users that will creep out of the woodwork and put something amusing somewhere, but it should greatly reduce.

Aside from tackling spam, its fiscal year end, 2 x VAT returns to do, and a8parts continues to be busier every single month......

For those that are aware of my alternitive 'IT' career, well thats been knocked on the head this month too, and it will be full time A8parts for me going forward....

So busy busy busy !

Any other self employed folks out there feeling the March time stress of number crunching ??

Hi Ian, it must feel great to have built something from nothing, doing it as a hobby / something in your spare time while holding down a job, and then building it to a level where it can support you! (and even make money :D )

Heres to seeing you guys go from strength to strength.

Wayne
