im not to worried about the top 2 at the minute unless they could cause my problem, but i think this is unlikely

its bottom code (intake manifold runner control, lower stop not reached) that i believe is the problem.

thanks for reading

Any one have an idea what i can do to fix it, i dont even know if it is a part i can replace,

Iv not gt a clue about audis

I think on that last code which relates to the intake manifold - sounds like its the actuator that is giving problems due to wear on the flap valve (this is made from plastic and needs to be replaced as a unit otherwise you're going to have isssues with recalibrating the servo motor on the flap unit. Talk to A8 parts and see if they have one I guess.

Thanks again architex, iv seen some on ebay that claim to be rebuild using stringer parts around 350 for a pair of manifolds.

I think im just going to change both of them, i dont want this problem in the future with the other manifold.

These ones here

Iv been looking about and i have found that audi do a repair kit for less than 20 pound a side. Although it doesnt replace the bearings it does repkace the linkage.

Im going to try this first, so i will report back once iv fitted them.
