A8 with Pimp Status
 

I had an amusing 30 mins when I drove to the local kebab shop in the a8. I have done this short journey a few times in the vw bora and never had the same reaction.

When I parked up, I stepped out and this woman walking by suddenly goes 'would you like some business'.....this caught me by surprise and my instant polite reaction, before I even realised what was happening, was to say 'No thank you'.

As she walked away, the implication of the question dawned on me and as I walked off to get my food I was mildly amused and of course very surprised.

Then when I drove back 10 mins later along the same road, travelling at a leisurely pace, I noticed another lady stepping out to the edge of the curb and giving me a big smile as I drove by.

Like I said, I have done this short journey a few times and never had this reaction or noticed prostitutes working along this little stretch of road. But then I wasn't driving the A8 before.

So I conclude, like it or not, the a8 has 'pimp status'.

:ROFL: You need to drive a bit quicker along that road, otherwise it's known as kerb crawling.

So did the second lady get in or would she not work with the first lady?

Sounds too much like the case for the defence, if you ask me. "I wasn't kerb crawling, your honour, it's the car's fault!" :D

Now, if this had happened to me, I would never have admitted it on this forum! They'll never let it go! :ROFL:

If you like that, you would really like the stretch of road between Barcelona and Roses. There is a prostitute every 10 miles along those roads. Probably for the truckers.

Ranj, I'm not sure you understand the dynamic here.

Unfortunately you have been upgraded to 'John' status as the ladies view you as a potential customer. To have 'Pimp' status said ladies will be carefully tucked up in the boot of the car alongside the dope and guns already ;)

I deleted it and I deleted it again. Telling someone they live in a s hi t hole and they are sad because they keep late hours is abusive. Might be the norm on other forums but not here while I moderate.
