Door mirror

Given that I only want the aluminium cover and nothing else, does anyone know if the cover from this will fit my 2002 S8?

Thanks

I don't know the right answer Jim, but here is an ad from german guy who is selling S8 mirror cup and claims it'll fit both FL and pre-FL (years 1994 - 2003).

I'm not sure Audi ever sold cups only BTW. I think they only came complete with mechanism as one part for unknown to me reason.

Let us know when you find definitive answer to your question.

PF and FL door mirror housings (and glass) are a subtly different shape... It wont fit yours unless you fit the whole mechanism, but then you'll need to buy some glass, and it still wont match the nearside... +++

Thanks Ian.

Don't suppose anyone has a suitable mirror (driver side) or even just the aluminium cover/cap/cup?

Is there a way to get ebay.de in English? They seem to have a much better offering, but I can't work through it!

Try using Google Chrome - it should auto translate, but it's a bit hit and miss

Get the URL for the page and feed it through google translate.

Or if you use Chrome, it'll suggest a translation for you if it recognises foreign languages.
