Correct Battery for a D3 3.0TDi

Gents,

I need to order a battery this morning for my stranded 3.0tdi (2006). i cannot find the spec in the handbook and am getting conflicting answers on the web. The chap at ECP was even trying to sell me a gel battery.

Can someone please tell me which battery I need to order?

It's a 020 size, like the Varta i1 or BOSCH 017 which is 4cm shorter.
Eurocarparts is cheap on their other website... at...
