Gearbox speed sensor
 

Any ideas on where this is? Need to replace it as the speedo isn't working all the time.

What fault does it throw up and does it give a sensor reference?

I'm trying to sort out stuff for our holiday so a bit time short but if its definitely attached to the gearbox I should be able to find a PDF of the location and potential part number :)

It's on the transmission, passenger's side, just above and slightly ahead of the axle output shaft.

on that link I posted above..... 6 is the wheel speed sensor and 7 is the engine speed sensor +++
