Replacing Radiator
Hey Guys,
I've just had bad news that i need to change the Radiator for my 1998 A8. The trouble is that in Oz parts for the D2's are really hard to come by. I did managed to find one being wrecked, however it has frontal collision so the radiator is stuffed!! My best choice is to look for a replacement in the UK, which has abundance of parts, however with its size, shipping to Oz won't be cheap! The part number i need is 4D0121251F, however i managed to track one from a 2002 S8 which i believe is part number 4D0121251R. Does anyone know whether this will be compatible? Thanks for any input or advice in advance Cheers, Steve |
talk to A8 parts our forum sponsor on +44 1642 783537 and they should be able to help check that but also they have sent plenty of parts to Aus at a reasonable cost +++

Welcome. Looks like you need a lower right bumper grille as well. I'm sure A8parts can find one of those ;)
The wheels are intriguing, from an A3 maybe? And what size are the wheels & especially tyres, they look a bit small...... |
The wheels might be OK but tyres definitely look too low profile

225x40x18 at a guess but might even be 17's they look tiny. |
This is what 17's look like, with the "correct" size tyre (winters in this case). 225/55R17 IIRC.

Wheels are actually OEM B6 S4 18" rims with 235/40 Tyres. I do know what you mean, it does kinda look small on the large A8 :(
