And you could get a really nice D2 S8 for that money. If this is a 'classic', then the industry has gone mad. Emporer's New Clothes springs to mind.

The old 'find another' I guess - IF that's the fully restored and painted price it might be justifiable if you really like them and the history actually backs up the mileage

I agree though - hateful things! Buy a Mini if you want the experience with less weight to lu about

They were "old and creaky" when new. We have spent the last 50 years making huge advances in automotive engineering to get away from all that was wrong with cars like the Austin (MG in badge only) 1100. These cars couldnt really claim any firsts or major advances which might have made them a classic. i.e. the Mini. The only thing it has going for it is its age.
