Service indicator reset
 

Hi, Just bought a 2009 A8 4.2TDI looks and first impressions seem great, wanting to give her a service, how do you reset the service indicator? and where is the diagnostic plug in the car? cheers Dave.

The OBD port is under the steering column, towards the right of the plastic trim panel.

You reset the service message with VCDS:

17 instruments.
10 adaptation.
Display block 02.

Simply read it, test "0" and then hit save.
