My silver D2 for sale

Hi guys,

It's time to pass on my 2000 D2 now at 109k miles to what I hope will be a forum member that can enjoy it as much as I have.

Most of you will know the car having seen it at a number of events, but please see below the spec as it is today.

There are links in the bottom of my signature where you can find the relevant links to many of the options.

The things that make this car extra special and you probably won’t have seen on many an A8:
- RS6 sports steering wheel with flappy paddles
- D3 S8 385mm monster brakes
- D2 S8 exhaust (polished to a fine shine :))
- D2 S8 bonnet grille
- 20" diamond cut 9J FE wheels - mint condition
- 20mm H&R rear spacers & 15mm Eibach Pro front spacers
- US rear indicator lights

The optional extras that make this a joy to own:
- Bose
- SatNav
- TV (in motion) including AV in for i.e. iPhone/media players, etc
- Audi rear seat entertainment system including roof screen, 10 disc DVD player, wireless headphones & Playstation
- Electric blinds
- Sports interior
- Sports suspension
- Xenon
- Solar sunroof
- Servotronic steering
- Private plate - L10 NWP or L10N WP

The things that show it’s been loved:

- Full service history – last service was 2 weeks ago at 109k miles
- All 4 original keys including wallet and valet key
- Gearbox oil & filter change at 70k miles
- Restored black leather seats
- All original mats, including over-mats
- Winter mats
- Dunlop SP SportMaxx GT J tyres with added rim protection (all 4mm+)
- OEM wiper blades (replaced last month)…not a big selling point but it makes a difference I tell you :)
- Original D2 sales brochures

The things that I would have fixed if i had kept it:
- Automatic headlight adjustment light on dash is on – the headlights work fine though
- Replace fuel cap (it has started to bubble)
- The odd stone chip and light scratch
- Paint front parking sensor

I am asking £3,850 but am open to offers so don’t be a stranger if you’re interested.

At this point I won’t be selling off any items separately.

Thanks,

Oliver

This is significantly better car than you've currently got Oli.

Good luck with sale.

Good luck with the sale Oli, if I were looking for a D2 I'd be first in the queue for this car with all youve done to it and the love youve shown to it!
You and the better half should bring BOTH cars to Castle Combe on Saturday the 12th if you can spare the time and bring a big for sale sign to put on the D2 - built in market right there from many many Audi fans +++

My sort of price bracket, but can't afford it. It's depressing seeing some fine motors up for sale here, especially with all the care and attention they have been given, and not being able to afford them. I have a 2001 A4 2.5 TDi QS which has been off the road for three months now with a fuel injection pump failure (I bought the A8 to replace it). Was hoping to get shot if it to pay for the LPG conversion.

Good luck with the sale, as it has a great spec list.

The price is spot on, a really unique D2, it is the one to buy currently. GLWS, shame you can't keep it but needs must, and the D3 will ease the pain...(only a bit though, nothing quite matches the D2).

My beloved 8 was sold tonight.

I'm pleased to say it's gone to a forum member who hasn't introduced himself yet but is a real enthusiast. I'm glad to see it will stay within the community and I know it will be looked after and enjoyed.

Thats good news. It was a nice car before you got it, and the subtle mods you made were perfect. Somebody just picked themselves up a cracking example of a well sorted D2.... +++

I'm glad that maybe I'll see that car again!
