Just found this wiring loom in my boot, any ideas what it is for?

Was having a scout around behind some panels in my boot and found this wiring loom and connector dangling down next to the small fuse box

And this is the connector...

Anybody know what this is for? I believe my car has been pre-wired for TV/freeview and DVD but I've not looked into this any further.

Should have had a look in my boot when we were at adi.

Pretty sure it's for TV, as it looks like it and is in the right place.

I know. I had a long list in my head of things to compare and check against the other D3s there but forgot most of them!

Wrong looking connector for anything AV related. Defo not TV with those big clasps either side.....

Hmm, some more investigation required then. I can't see a socket anywhere within the cable's reach that it could plug into.

My rear view camera (aftermarket, not Audi) suddenly stopped working a couple of months ago and I've not got round to diagnosing the problem yet. Excuse my incompetence but would it be for that? Or would that camera just be simply wired in to activate when the car is put in reverse?

I would assume you have had some aftermarket module fitted if the camera comes on the mmi automagically when you select reverse. As the video gets routed to the mmi when reverse is selected.
