New head unit

Here is a picture of the new head unit it's a pioneer appsradio shp-da 110 and it's made for smart phones iphone and android.
The facia surround I got doesn't fit so I need to make a new one or find a better one. But you get the idea. It works as well as anything else I've tried and only £319 for my model. The older gen 2 that only works with a 4/4s is less than £150 on eBay and seems to work the same.
Cheers Dave

Do we know people who do moulding or whatever the process is called when they take glass/plastic with some glue and can make custom shape surface and then can flock it or wrap with leather etc. I know a good trimmer but I'm not sure he can do this kind of magic.

Usually people who install sound systems in cars specialise in this stuff. I have a couple of cases (not connected with radio install) where I'd need this kind of job to be done, but I don't know a good place.

I wonder if someone can recommend me an individual who can do this magic. Don't want to go to big companies though. Would like a guy who works for himself. In my experience these kind of people deliver better quality :)

Thanks! (I'm based near Reading, so south east or south would be ideal)

I would have thought that James ('Mkoneman) could do this Sergey. He also works with some car audio guys in Oxford

A 3d printer would be ideal! there are places that you can email a file to and they print the part for you maybe I should try and do the 3d drawing

If they do an adaptor plate for a C5 A6 you can trim that down to fit this aftermarket headunit - same as people do when fitting RNS-E :)

Hi Adrian the surround in the picture is supposed to be a A6 one and it doesn't fit that well. The radius isn't the same as other ones I've seen so I think I'll make one from scratch.
