Its alive !!!
Well, I wouldn't have believed it but my beloved bag of rust transit with its snapped cambelt cranked into life today....
After a long, long list of parts, costing about a tenner each lol and relitively low amounts of skin loss due to the vast acres of space to work under the bonnet, we have signs of life... A bit spluttery at first, and smokey, and generally a bit like the wife when you wake her up from deep sleep, but after a good hard spanking on the throttle she seems to be up and running pretty much 'as before' Took it out for 20 mins and no notable ill effects... Hurrah.... :D |
Awesome... Shame our engines aren't as easy to resurrect.

LOL nice one Ian - thats the wife sorted, now what about the transit van? :D
|
That's awesome Ian!!
So when do we get to see some pics of this indestructable beast? :D |
Believe me when I say it ain't pretty! Pictures are not what you want! :p:ROFL:
|
Why don't you stick a V8 in it. I'm sure you've got a couple hanging around A8 Parts
|
Thats not the first time thats been mentioned.... :D
Might affect the economy... And handling... and ability to keep traction... and if it wont fit under the bonnet, it would have to go in the back, which would really affect load capacity somewhat... |
Aye, but the noise!!!! :D
