So I was with a mate from work today, as he is looking for a nice second hand motor (can't get him into 8's unfortunately, the wife won't have it)

Anyway while in a dealer in Rochdale where he was looking at a SAAB convertible - the dealer took particular interest in my car.
"Alot of people are selling those, no one wants a big car these days"

Just aswell I am not selling then.. I replied.
Out of curiousity though, I asked for the book price to trade my car in.
Ok, Hi miles (159k now), 2.8.. but in good condition, plenty of extras (if you know your Audi's)
What depressing figure do you think he told me I would get!? Nearest gets a hotdog bought by me at the meeting in June.

strangely though the online car price guides value bottom trade at £1500-2000 so if it is as low as we all think then how do they account for the difference? I thought they were supposed to be the experts! :Confused:
