Rear screen query
 

So,

Can you knowledgeable folks tell me:-

In a 2009 A8 with OEM rear headrest screens, and digital tv up front,

1. Can you watch the tv on the rear screens?
2. Can you select a different DVD for each rear screen? (there seems to be a Blaupunkt DVD player in the boot on the near side)

I suspect it will be one DVD on both screens, since they are usually wired together to provide the same signal on both. The boot DVD player will only be a single drive mechanism inside.

IIRC If the screens are original Audi then TV should play on the rear screens, even in motion. However if this is aftermarket or retrofitted kit then most likely not.

if they are OEM you normally get the same on both screens but can turn the screens on and off independently. if there is a PS2 fitted then i believe its possible to play on one and watch dvd on another
