Contemplating selling the D3
 

Thinking about selling my D3 testing the water ect

Its a LWB Black
Standard factory tints
Electric blinds ect side blinds
Finger print recognition and keyless entry and start
4.2 on Lpg also has a 90L tank In the boot with a concealed filler

Currently have FE 20inch wheels on .. although I may not sell with the FEs on
Auto boot and all the usual refinements
Done about 114k now
just had a new water pump timing belt and all gubbins and also new VVT units
Also just came back from audi and had all 8 coil packs changed as well as a full service plugs and all filterz ect.

Air con needs a regas
And it will need some tlc hear and there its been used
Well I know the standards people expect on hear lol

Will be sold with private reg S8 AOR
Unless someone wants the reg separate of course +++

Make me some offers so I can guestimate its worth

Oh and interior is comfort with quad zone climate and is eather platinum or dark cream or something simmilar

Sounds like a great car, pitty it was not 2 months ago otherwise I may have bought it. Instead I have a D2 that nobody wants to buy and a 2004 D3 3.7 which needs some more TLC including the manifold flaps fixing (Seized solid).

Need some photos, details of age / mot / history / tax / interior colour +++

Could be worth anything from 5 to 10 K.

Shame its LWB or I could have been interested. I fancy a bit of LPG again...... +++

are you forgetting to mention the brand new engine or was that a different car

It's a different car limoncello. This one is a 4.2 petrol with LPG

Where abouts in the country. What's the interior. What cruise control, entry/start, suspension, year etc all seem to effect the value when looking arround! Betting that it is bose, but what stereo/mmi etc

Oh an what make of LPG. Guessing it's a big tank across the back seats

I wouldn't be so sure of that. I'm probably going to sell it to myself for about half of what its worth because I'm such a bloody nice bloke... :ROFL:

Well weather did not permit photos im affrade im still waiting for it to ease up a tad

Bose surround sound of course. it dose have a number of toys .. not sure if there standard being a LWB or not aside for the ooooooodles of leg room it has the following

*Interior Mood lighting package with fully lit Led strips and flood lights ect

Did have a ski hatch although usless now since the LPG Tank is across the back of the boot. (Still plenty of room for the buggy and bags ect...foot wells make up for it )
*LPG System with 90L tank is OMVH Italian make
*Just had new Pads fitted all round
*Glass sun roof
*Rear side blinds + rear main blind
*Seats are comfort platinum leather
*adaptive air suspension Std Ride Hight
*6 CD changer std No AMI sadly its on the W12 as well as the DVB-T
*analoge TV Fitted
*Voice Dialog system~(Voice activated everything )
*Auto Boot and soft close
*Just had both VVT Units change and replaced as well as a full service including all filter and all plugs 8New coil packs Gratis from Audi. Full Cambelt and water pump replacement

There is lots to list and I forget half of the stuff ...




Bad Bits ....Sadly every car has them

The interior window buttons are wearing and the black is rubbing off some of the buttons
Generally could do with a Full detail to freshen it up.
Im sure you all know im usually on top of it i.e. the W12 was always spotless and in showroom condition
sadly work commitments have not permitted much time to give the D3 some TLC that it needs

I changed the rear pads myself and followed the guide on VCDS ross tech ect and although I have done this on the W12 twice now with no problem on the LWB 4.2 I have the warning light on the dash it drives me mad the parking break works perfectly with no fault but yet the light is still on ... silly I know but it drives me crackers !

Drives lovely and has 115k on the clock ive had a look seems ive been doing a fair amount more miles than I thought +++

air con needs a re gas ive changed the High pressure switch but just not had the time to regas it since and the weather has not permitted it.

ive been offered an interior for it a sports interior with the picnic table for the rear that is Black Napa so I may at some point get that fitted as well


As soon as its not chucking it down I will take some interior photos. I PERSONALLY DONT LIKE PLATINUM but they do look better in the flesh than in pictures
