So what you all iup to ?

Summers over, that was last week... Suns all gone now...

We've got a car to pick up this week which is always great fun.

Today, i'm tyring to finish off the start of 'A6 Parts' which has taken a bit of doing....

On top of my usual hassle with Ebay, Turbo blister and the other useless, random and poorly documented 'tools' they give you to 'build your business', I've now managed to list an item in the A6 shop which doesn't appear to be there.... How the heck can that be.... :angry4:

Ebay item 250415085305 if anyone wants to share my frustration... Its listed under us, A6parts, but doesn't actually show up anywhere in our shop - http://stores.ebay.co.uk/a6parts :(

ah well, I'll just bend over and pay my Ebay fees.......

Anyway, what joy are other folks up to today ?

Well in preparation for the bedford tackday as posted here

I have been making a few alterations to the car. I took out all that was left of the HVAC system and made up a pannel to fill the rather large hole that it leaves in the bulkhead. Was a bit of a nightmare to get out, I had to remove the large aluminium bracing bar that runs across the car, which included moving the steering coulmn. I have installed a second sparco bucket seat and I have also made a replacement interior floor for it as its uneven due to the lack of air vents running to the rear. Next up is the lexan, I have ordered it but then the fun of removing cutting and replacing can begin.

Along the way I have removed various bits an pieces that were no longer needed including the left over air con system.

Ive also been trying to learn the bedford GT circuit a bit, its a new one on me and being around 4 miles long it takes a bit of getting used to. I have been trying it out on rFactor to get used to the layout.

Yes, the HVAC is a PITA to get out, but you've room for a couple of cup holders now :D

Piccies ??..

I took the 8 camping in Salcombe, devon this weekend! .... leaking tent, crazy wind but well worth the trip.

The rear entertainment kit sure came in handy though :-)

i'm still camping in my caravan. Went to the circus in Blackpool Tower toda then up to the top of the tower. For those that don't know it there is a 'glass floor' which has a drop of 380ft. Wifey is holding tight to the wall, 4 year old daughter is there looking down beween her feet."daddy all the people look like ants....." :D

Then it was open top bus ride back and Rory, Anxious and Greedy in 'The enchanted mirror'...........
