Copied from my Ad on Ebay:

A8 4.2 Quattro with BRM LPG System 2003 - £5,250

Location: Just off A303 Somerset/Wilshire border

121,000 miles
MOT Jan 15
Tax Jun 14

I've had this for almost a year and absolutely love it but sadly a company car has come between us and I can't justify keeping*her any longer.
This has a BRM fully sequential LPG system fitted with a 70 litre tank in the spare wheel well, fitted in 2009 at £2000.*
I consistently get 20-24 mpg and on average pay*only 67p/litre for LPG. Compared to running her on unleaded, £1 for £1 that's the equivalent to 38 - 46 mpg!*
On a recent trip to Belgium she averaged 26.2 mpg on LPG giving a colossal equivalent to over 50 mpg. Don't be put off by folk telling you that you lose power when running on LPG, you do, but with 330 BHP you really don't notice it.* Compare that to the*mpg the 3 & 4 litre TDIs give you and you know it makes sense.

Service history:

Full set or receipts and manuals (+ CD version) with the car also both keys.
Many parts fitted at Cardiff Audi or local Audi specialist garage. £1000's spent in the past few years.
the early years are all Audi then Audi*specialist. My local garage has looked after her*since.
Last service 104k (Longlife Oil)*Cam belt done at 81K.**
Just had an MOT
This year the Lower links & rear anti roll bar replaced prior to MOT*so good*until Jan 2015
2 Advisories rear brake*pads and dink in*one of the wheel rims,*this is*now the spare.*
Tax until June

Inside:

These really do come fully loaded, sumptuous tan*leather with matching roof lining that looks really plush with the met blue paint.*Sat Navigation, Multi stack CD in the glove box,**Bose sound system, electric everything even the steering column and seat belt adjustment!* Electrically adjusted seats (with memory) and heated. It even has an electrically operated blind for the rear window. Full set of Audi mats with overlays, Double glazing etc etc
The MMI works as it should. Adaptive air suspension works as it should.
*It has figure print recognition and built in phone*but I have never set them up.
You can appreciate why these sold at £58k new!

Outside:

Body work and trim are in*great condition considering this is a 10 year old car.
Fitted with 20" Alloys with good tread on all tyres and a full size spare.
Recently replaced all 4 lights on the rear and she now looks as good as new!
Like all cars there are a couple of cosmetic issues:
The window switches on the drivers door have lost some of the black coating - a common issue
The EMS amber light comes on intermittently it was bought like this and here is the explanation from the previous owner:
"The engine management light occasionally illuminates. If investigated with an OBD2 reader, the system logs lean running on Banks 1&2. I have had this checked by garages and the LPG System installers, and it is a false reading caused by the use of LPG*(it is picked up by the Lambda sensors). The car has been professionally mapped by the LPG installers on the road and is not running lean. If anything, it is running slightly rich. This is a common issue that occurs on LPG converted A8`s, so please do not be put off by this"

It is still intermittent and I too have had it checked and it hasn't changed!

£5,250

I saw this when it first went up on eBay - Dismissed it as it has no interior photos....

No interior photos = really awful colour combo / bad condition interior.

If this isnt the case, get some interior photos on show and you should pick up quite a bit more interest +++
