Hello mate
Do you know if that fits 03plate TT and when you say up to date sat nav disc (I know nothing about this unit) is the dvd reader built in to this unit, do you stick a sat nav disc in it??
Cheers fella +++

Hi
The unit is double din, as for fitting in a Audi TT. I wouldn't like to say. Hopefully some one will add and advise. I can't honestly see why not.

The sat-nav runs off a DVD. The one in the unit at the moment, is a 2013/14 disc. The front screen/display folds down to reveal a DVD and 2 SD slots.
I hope this helps

Note that the DVD slot is SOLELY for the SatNav data DVD, it WILL NOT play anything.

The fascia layout on the TT requires a lot of work to make an RNS-E fit, I believe. I'm pretty sure it was offered as an option on later cars but it's whether you can acquire the necessary centre console (and probably climate) panels for sensible money. At the very least the nav unit will require trimming and that assumes it's too big rather than too small.

It's been done if you try a google image search but I'm not sure I'd want to try tbh!

...plus sat nav aerials inc. wiring, to much hassle...and cd changer, no.

Thanks Al, but it just would be to much hassle :(
