S8 D2 soon to be detailed!
 

My S8 is away to get detailed in a few weeks time. I'll post some pics when it is done.

The guy has done most of my cars and made an excellent job. There is a video of him doing my R8 on his web page.

It really depends what needs done or you want done. As he says on his website, a job can take from 1 hour to 1 week depending on what you want! He does everything from washing, paint correction, polish, Gtechnig work, interior, etc. As a very rough guide it normally works out around £250 per day - and that is a full day! Some days he has been at my house from early in the morning to late at night!

It looks like my S8 has been detailed before but it still needs his attention! I am going to drop it off at his place and leave it with him. Hopefully, that will be before the meet - and I'll be able to get along to it!

First job though is get the interior water tight, then fit the new head unit!

To give you an idea Jim for a full correction detail you should expect to pay between £300-450 depending on what needs doing. I've had a full correction detail on mine then a follow up detail a year later and the first was £420 with 2 people doing almost 12 hours on it (so 24 hours total) and then £350 for a follow up detail which then concentrated on other areas.

Just got the S8 back after a week of detailing. It is now getting to the state I am happy with! I've put some pics in an album (http://forum.a8parts.co.uk/album.php?albumid=86) but need to get her up to Skye for some decent ones!

Next thing on the list is fitting the RNS-E and other related parts!
