Brakes - fitted

Busy morning fitting front zimmerman z coated 360mm discs and audi pads. Thanks Marcin for the help ordering etc! They look ace and with the anti rust, should remain that way. Needed to do them today as alot of miles to do tomorrow, and getting last pads out, they were 99.9% finished!

Also fitted a parking sensor I got from A8 parts - thanks guys, perfect. Works a treat now. Just needs painting!

No problemo Dan +++
Always here to help if I can :cheers:

PS, now you need a bigger wheels, or thinner spokes, to see them properly ;)
..just joking +++
Glad you're happy with them. I got mine almost two years ago and they still look great, no rust or rusty flakes on the edges

What I really need is wheel refurb. Give it 2 weeks. Car then sorted - for now!

Looking forward to my 500 miles and my B&O tomorrow +++

Sounds like a decent trip, where heading, somewhere nice with nice roads or mainly motorway??

Can't be a nice productive day on the car.

Looks good.

Is 360mm standard size or did you go bigger?

Dan 5th April 2014 05:33 PM

360 was standard. They weigh a tonne!

Cheltenham - Halifax - Chesterfield - Northampton - Cheltenham. Might go cross country here and there!

How much did they set you back ? .. I always wandered if there was a tin of coating you can buy and apply it yourselves or not ?
