Sent messages ????
Just curious guys if any of you could explain this.
When I send a private message, why would it not show up in my 'sent messages' folder ? I know I have sent messages before and the recipients have received them, but again they have never shown up in the sent folder ! My inbox has plenty of messages in it ! I suppose its genuinely not that important, but it would be nice to know my message has been sent. Cheers ! |
It's an option, you have to "tick the box". :tuttut:

Hopefully the next three images will show I have selected the box !!!! I have selected sent items and clicked the go button !
Inbox status Status of both boxes Sent items selected and no messages http://img.photobucket.com/albums/10...ps9eb8a078.png http://img.photobucket.com/albums/10...ps4e5faa71.png http://img.photobucket.com/albums/10...ps1985a78a.png |
No, when you send a message (not look for it when it's not there).

Duh..... silly me ! I just assumed a sent message would automatically go into the sent items folder. It turns out you have to change the settings - under "Additional Options" below - to get the system to keep copies of sent messages.

And every time as well, I think. :(

Think its a one off setting, only ever set mine once and it saves all sent messages+++

"Save a copy of sent messages in my Sent Items folder by default" and place a tick in the box, its remembered forever then. The standard VBulletin option is to have this turned off. |
