A8 Forum - No notifications of PM
 

Just a quick one.
I haven't done any changes to my preferences or anything like that.

I'm not receiving any email notifications about PMs sent to me from other members for at least a week now.
Previously, since day one, I was notified about each PM via email.

Any clues why is like that?? Is anyone experiencing similar issue??

Mine often end up in the Spam/Junk folder.

Found them, but why suddenly they are not displayed in the main inbox??
It's a gmail account and I haven't done any changes to it whatsoever.

No sure.. mine go to Gmail, so could be something that Google have changed

No changes here, mail still routing through the same servers etc.

Spam filtering is a mixture of pot luck and voodoo logic. Its a wonder anyone gets any email anymore, but then we only complain when we have an inbox full of Viagra offerings.... :p

I'd point the finger at a google change, but I'm sure it'll be a closely guarded one ;)

Just added ian@a8parts.co.uk (email which notifies me about PM sent on this forum) to my contacts so that should solve the problem as it's a trusted sender now +++

If anyone fancy sending me a PM that would be great +++

So simply add A8parts email to your contacts if you experiencing same problem and that's it.
No idea what caused it :Confused:
